Summer is almost over, but keep calm. There’s still (a bit of) time left for you to grab the girls and get-away.
Victoria is just a stones throw, or a scenic BC Ferries ride, away, and it’s an idyllic destination for you and the squad.
Here are 5 of the best things for you and the girls to do:
Victoria Getaway With The Girls
Stay at a luxury boutique hotel that is one of the city’s best kept secrets

If you’re looking to lap up all the luxury, then you need to stay at Magnolia Hotel & Spa. It’s just steps from the city’s iconic and picturesque Inner Harbour. The boutique hotel has elegant European-style rooms with comfortable bedding, plush robes, fresh fruit and bottled water. All the rooms have lots of natural light and offer beautiful views of the city (some even facing the BC Parliament Buildings which light up at night).
Commit to spending lots of time lounging at the spa

The Spa at Magnolia is another reason why it’s an awesome option when planning a trip to Victoria. The full-service spa offers a tranquil escape with modern rooms and a lounge. It offers a variety of treatments, including massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and anything else you could want for some much needed pampering time.

All the gardens to soak up the beauty of Spring

When in Victoria, you have to explore all the serene parks and gardens. Stop by Butchart Gardens or the Butterfly Gardens located right next door where a variety of butterfly species roam freely around you. Another gem is Beacon Hill Park and the hike at Lone Tree Hill. Or just explore all the gorgeous cherry blossoms taking over the downtown streets.
Go on a tea-riffic trail

Forget the pub crawl, go on a tea trail. Victoria is known for their many tea shops and tea rooms. Some to keep in mind are Silk Road Tea, which is a massive space on Government Street with all the tea your heart could desire, as well as skin and body products. They even have a mini tea bar, where you can pull up a stool and sip on tea flights.
For more of a high tea experience, there’s The Teahouse at Abkhazi Gardens where you can drink tea and soak up the scenery. Or there’s Venus Sophia, which is a local favourite where everything is plant-based and made from scratch.
Try all the tapas

After all the tea and miniature sandwiches you’ll consume over your stay—nothing beats tapas. Hop around and explore some of the city’s best spots to grab a bite. Some favourites include: The Courtney Room (with happy hour daily 2pm to 6pm), Tapa Bar (known for their fondue), Bodega Bar (hello charcuterie) and Nubo Japanese Tapas (over 40 rolls!).
