Summer is in full swing! It’s the perfect opportunity to put away the parkas and break out the shorts! Right now neon and graphic prints are all over the streets of Vancouver. Bright skater skirts, blazers and even nail polish! Floral, geometric and tribal prints are also being donned around town. Printed tops have become a staple in the last two years; patchwork or three dimensional qualities, printed tops have slowly taken hold of the fashion world.
There are some key designers which have set the standards for printed tops and really made the trend what it is today. Ricardo Tisci, Brian Lichtenberg, Jeremy Scott, Kenzo Takada and many others have influenced fashionistas and other brands. Retail stores like Zara, H&M, and Forever 21 have taken inspiration from the runway to feed the streets with their more moderately priced adaptations.
