There’s a new plant-based eatery in town. Virtuous Pie has officially opened their second Vancouver location, with a restaurant at UBC’s Westbrook Village.
They’re best known for their delicious vegan pizzas and ice cream.
Virtuous Pie’s flagship location on Main Street has been a hit among clean-eating Vancouverites. Their new location will feature brand-new pizzas (including a brunch-style pizza), Matchstick coffee, Dipped Doughnut Co’s donuts, and soft-serve ice cream.

The newly-opened 2,000-square-foot space has something for everyone (even if you’re not vegan).

- Calabrese (Sauce Arrabbiata, Goat Cheese, Charred Fennel, Olives, Calabrian Chile, Fried Capers, Fennel Fronds)
- Peking Express (5 Spice Onion Cream, Hoisin Pulled Mushrooms, Cashew Mozzarella, Gai Lan, Scallion Ginger Sauce, Crispy Shallots, and Sesame)
- Pesto C.B.R (Bianca, Pesto Marinated Chicken, Sundried Tomatoes, Cashew Mozzarella, House-made Bacon, Garlic Ranch and Rocket)
- Steak + Eggs (Cheddar Cream, Caramelized Onion, Steak Curls, Tofu Scramble, Oven dried tomatoes, and Fresh Chimichurri)
Other flavours include: margherita, super funghi, meatball & chevre, and a walnut arugula pesto pie.

Or you can get their soft-serve ice cream, made in-house (vanilla, strawberry and a twist of both). They’re also whipping up some sweet sundaes.

Craving brunch? They’ve got an epic line-up of breakfast items. Order ‘The Cure’ breakfast bowl with crispy tater tots, 33 Acres Brewing spicy chorizo, roasted vegetables, avocado, tofu scramble and cashew hollandaise sauce.
If you’ve got a sweet tooth, try their breakfast calzone with chocolate hazelnut and cinnamon banana filling, fresh fruit, shaved chocolate, vanilla ice cream and maple syrup.
