Back in January it was announced that the Japanese retail giant MUJI would be opening a shop in the heart of downtown Vancouver on Robson Street.
On Tuesday, November 14th, the company announced that the shop would be opening its doors to the public at 10 am on Saturday, December 2nd. It will be located at 1125 Robson Street, which was formerly a GAP store.
The giant store will be the largest of its kind outside of Asia. Fans of the brand have long-awaited the grand opening. The store is 14,507 square feet and includes clothing, stationery items, furniture, housewares, and skincare in addition to food. MUJI lovers should plan to arrive early, as the event promises to be packed.

Exciting New Features At MUJI Robson
“Unlike the Metrotown store, the Robson location will feature products and services new to the Canadian market, including a coffee counter, fragrance bar, and customizable stationery,” reports Western Investor.
Earlier this year, Muji opened its second largest shop in the province at the Metropolis at Metrotown. The opening of the 8,000 square foot shop was a huge success. Even long after the opening, fans continue to visit the location in droves.
