PUBLIC DISCO SUMMER BLOCK PARTY
Public Disco is well-known for putting on their curated, open-air daytime events all across Vancouver for the past 8 years. This year is no different, and Public Disco is hosting a range of free and ticketed events as part of their Summer Block Party series, from all-ages to 19+.
After last year’s sellout, Public Disco returns to the Mount Pleasant motel lot for another open-air session, framed by mountain views, city skyline, and the art-covered walls of the City Centre Artist Lodge. Presented by 2 Hoots Hard Iced Tea and produced in collaboration with SLAB, their City Centre Artist Lodge edition of Summer Block Party is going to be one you won’t want to miss.
This is actually may be Public Disco’s last party at the City Centre Artist Lodge before it’s slated redevelopment, so you better get your tickets while you can!
THE LINEUP
Public Disco never disappoints when it comes to music. Party-goers will be thrilled to hear that the headline sets for this upcoming event are the legendary Soul Clap (New York) and Derrick Carter (Chicago), whose appearances in Vancouver are rare. They’re also bringing in some Vancouver favourites like Max Ulis, DJ dood, and Sayang.
The event is curated by Max Ulis and co-presented by SLAB Events.
