Shop unique finds from local and BIPOC-owned small businesses while enjoying live music, community activations, and festive spring surprises.
This market is part of River District in Bloom – a celebration of the arrival of spring complete with floral art, seasonal gatherings, and special collaborations unfolding throughout the community from March 20 to June 20.
Visitors to the market can also take in floral displays at River District Town Centre by Fleurs de Villes and window mural artwork by Wkndrs.
Local businesses will also be offering special spring-themed features, including:
- Bufala’s Flowering Currant Gelato – crafted in house by Executive Chef Kevin Atkinson.
- Boketto’s Strawberry Sakura Sundae – a dreamy spring treat featuring sakura (cherry blossom) flavour.
- Angus T’s croissant recommendation for River District in Bloom.
- Everything Wine’s spring recommendations – a curated selection of wines, beers, and spirits chosen to celebrate River District in Bloom.
There will also be a Heart and Hustle Easter Market on April 4 featuring local artisans, live music, and a festive Easter egg hunt with chances to win market prizes.
