The art scene in Vancouver is like nowhere else in the world. And if you love local art– whether that’s creating it, supporting it, or both– then you’ll want to head to Astro Arts Festival 2025 this summer!
After a two-year hiatus, Astro Arts Festival is returning! Featuring a free, all-ages block party with loads of murals, street art, graffiti, DJs, and much more, this arts festival is the place to be if you love urban art and muralism.
ASTRO ARTS FESTIVAL
Astro Arts Festival focuses specifically on the “powerful impact of urban art and muralism on Vancouver’s community.” For three whole days, you can take part in the festivities that celebrate the amazing works of art all across Vancouver’s walls.
The free, all-ages block party will take place over two days from August 9-10. There’s going to be a variety of things going on and places to visit, such as:
- Watching 30+ murals, street art, and graffiti works come to life
- Mural wrap unveiling featuring 6 new public artworks
- Beer garden
- Artist Market
- DJs to jam to
- Open studios
You can also attend “The 100 Amigos” on August 8. This is an art exhibition showcasing over 100 12”x12” artworks by local talents, curated by Pablo Zamudio, Drew Young, and Douglas Coupland. If you’d like to go to the VIP viewing time, you can get a ticket for $75.
