Anticipation is building in Vancouver as the BC Lions gear up to host Canada’s largest annual sporting event for the first time in a decade. Expect live music, parties, and thrilling activities, including an exciting zipline adventure above Coal Harbour.

What to Expect
Starting on November 10 and ending with the 111th Grey Cup at BC Place on November 17, the 2024 Grey Cup Festival is set to be a week to remember. Tickets for this highly anticipated event are now on sale.
Organisers are expecting a massive turnout, with over 500,000 people predicted to join the festivities during the four-day street celebration. From November 13 to 16, Canada Place Way will be transformed into a lively hub of fun and excitement, stretching between Thurlow and Howe streets.

The Save-On-Foods Street Festival will take over Canada Place Way from November 13 at 4 p.m. until Saturday, November 16 at 9 p.m. It promises a festive atmosphere with free concerts, sponsor activations, mini football fields, food trucks, and more.
On November 13 at 8:30 pm, the skies above the Vancouver waterfront will ignite with a massive, FREE 3D Drone Show to celebrate the Grey Cup Festival!
Watch 1,000 drones take flight between the Vancouver Convention Centre and Westin Bayshore, creating a dazzling, larger-than-life spectacle you don’t want to miss!
Expect large crowds, as the Vancouver Christmas Market and Save-On-Foods Street Festival will be nearby.
Free Concerts at the Payworks Entertainment Stage (11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Nov 14-16) including performances by:
- Thursday: Delhi 2 Dublin, En Karma
- Friday: Dear Rouge
- Saturday: Chad Brownlee, Shawn Austin, and VAVO

PCI Kickoff Party on Nov 13 at Canada Place Way featuring Felix Cartal from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
A massive fan zone at Vancouver Convention Centre-East (open Nov 13 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. and Nov 14-16 from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.), which includes:
- TELUS Family Zone with mini ziplines, rock climbing wall, inflatable obstacle course, mini football field and more
- WestJet Ultimate CFL Experience with immersive football activities
- Esports Experience
- Indigenous Marketplace and Global Pavilion
Free game day activities will also include the United Traffic Control Fan March from the Vancouver Convention Centre to BC Place at 1:30 p.m. and the PlayNow Sports Backyard Street Party at Terry Fox Plaza outside BC Place featuring sponsor activations, a beer garden, and live performances from VAVO and Devon Cole on Nov 17 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Ziplining Thrills
Adding to the excitement are two ziplines that will surely bring back memories of the 2010 Winter Olympics.
RBC Harbour Zipline: For a breathtaking view, the RBC Harbour Zipline will take you five stories above the ocean on a 500-foot ride between the East and West Convention Centres.
Carstar Street Zipline: If you prefer an urban adventure, the Carstar Street Zipline offers a 530-foot ride over Canada Place Way. It’s a unique way to experience the festival from above.
