Get ready to dive into a super vibrant, free street festival celebrating Mexican Independence Day vibes in the heart of Vancouver. On Sunday, September 14, 2025, Robson Square and Vancouver Art Gallery Plaza transform into a bustling Mexican fiesta—complete with mariachi jams, folkloric dancing, lucha libre, artisan vendors, and all‑day mouth‑watering eats. What makes it extra special this year: the traditional Ceremonia del Grito brings that emotional, community‑rich energy downtown  .

Expect live mariachi bands, folk dance troupes, energetic Latin pop acts, and even lucha libre in the plaza. A Mexican market stocked with handmade goods, crafts, and food stalls offers everything from tacos to horchata and mezcal cocktails. It’s a mega‑community gathering—thousands of people join every year to connect, celebrate, and honour inclusion and multiculturalism in BC  .

Organized by the Comunidad Mexicana en Vancouver Services Society, Fiesta Mexicana is all about Mexican pride, cultural joy, and bringing people together—whether you’re Mexican, Latino, or just love the energy!
