>Why is “Dream Big” the Theme?
Employ to Empower (ETE) Entrepreneurs are individuals who are overcoming the work and social barriers that they face on a daily – whether it be mental/physical health challenges, disability, or recovering from addictions.
Too often, stigma paints a biased picture of someone’s experience – the human experience cannot be boiled down to statistics. Statistics have a really ugly way of telling us who can, and cannot be an entrepreneur.
This event is inspired by the ETE Entrepreneurs entrepreneurs – like Sonya, who beat the odds, examples who will shift the narrative. The theme of this evening is Dream Big, as each entrepreneur in our program has shown us the importance of dreaming bigger, brighter and beyond what we have imagined for ourselves.
