Police are asking the public for any information in regard to an elderly man that went missing from a BC Ferry on Thursday, March 29th.
The man boarded the 9pm BC Ferry in his vehicle, which departed from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen; however, when the ferry arrived in Tsawwassen, the man did not return to his vehicle.
Police conducted a search of the ferry, but they were unable to locate the 80-year-old man.

“At this time, there is no reason to believe the circumstances around his disappearance are suspicious,” said Delta Police in a statement.

Man Missing from BC Ferries
The missing man is:
- 80 years old
- Caucasian
- Heavy Build
- 5’9”, 225 pounds
- Brown eyes, Brown hair
- Wearing a grey sweater, dark grey/black pants
Police are asking any ferry passengers or potential witnesses at either Swartz Bay or Tsawwassen who may have seen the man to contact Delta Police at 604.946.4411.
