Vancouver Canucks Introduce ‘Dynamic Pricing’ For Single Game Tickets - 5 Last Minute Canucks Christmas Gift Ideas

The Vancouver Canucks are gearing up to drop the puck on what it sure to be an interesting season, and have revealed that tickets for the 2015-16 season will go on sale Monday, September 14th at 10:00am.

They have also revealed that the ticketing system for home games, which has typically been consistent, and not cheap, is about to change.

For the first time in the organization’s history, the Canucks will introduce “dynamic pricing” for single game tickets. Essentially, ticket prices will vary from game to game. Prices will rise or fall depending on a number of factors including what opposing team is in town, rivalries, standings, star players, day of the week and supply and demand.

Like most entertainment and travel industries, fans who purchase tickets in advance are more likely to get a better price. Dynamic pricing is a typical system used by a wide array of sports industries, and fluctuates on real-time market value.
