Boeing 747 Gets Stuck In Mud After Wide Turn At YVR

A China Airlines Boeing 747 found itself in a sticky situation upon landing and taking a wide turn on the tarmac, resulting in the plane swerving onto the grass and getting stuck in mud.

China Airlines Flight 32 touched down at YVR just after 6:00pm from Taipei, Taiwan. The wide turn caused the jet to drive into wet grassy area, and ultimately disabled it from driving out.

Fortunately, there were no injuries and passengers were off-loaded and transported to the airport terminal by bus around 9:30 pm. Airport authorities were able to tow the plane back to the terminal by 11:30 pm.

Airport operations were not affected, but the returning flight on the same aircraft was delayed until Wednesday afternoon.
