An Air Canada flight that departed Vancouver International Airport on Wednesday, August 30th was forced to turn back around and make an emergency landing.
The aircraft was headed to Hong Kong on flight AC 7, on a Boeing 777. It was flying somewhere over Alaska when the pilot realized they had to turn back due to hydraulic indication.

The aircraft landed safely at 7:30 pm in the evening and no one on the aircraft was injured.

Global News reports that Air Canada said that “As per standard operating procedures and as a precautionary measure, the crew requested airport services presence. Passengers re-departed a few hours later on another aircraft.”
No further details regarding the landing have been released.
