In addition to Vancouver’s Cat Cafe, the city will get a puppy cafe, but for one day only.
On Friday, August 5, the British Columbia SPCA will partner with Taxi Global Cafe to host a pop-up puppy cafe at 15 Richards Street.

The event’s goal is to help find adoptable dogs a new home.
Puppy-lovers will need to donate $10 to enter the facility and meet the dogs. Once inside, guests will have the chance to grab a cup of coffee, mingle with pups and hopefully walk away with a match.
The pop-up puppy cafe will run from 11:00am to 3:30pm. Registration for visiting begins at 10:30am.
