Vancouver’s spiciest showdown is back and this time, it comes with dumplings. On Saturday, September 13, Good Co. Granville will host the HOT ONES Challenge 2.0, a fiery competition that dares contestants to take on six scorching hot sauces while chowing down on handmade dumplings from Dicky’s Dumps.
Dumplings Meet Danger
Forget wings, Septembers challenge pairs the city’s hottest sauces with one of Vancouver’s favourite comfort foods. Six rounds, six sauces, and 16 brave contestants battling it out for cash prizes and gifts from Dr. Denim and Dipt Vancouver.
The competition starts at 4 pm, but doors open at 3 pm, and trust us, you’ll want to get there early for the best seats. Watching people sweat, cheer, and fight their way through escalating heat levels is as entertaining as it gets.
Eat Like a Challenger
Not competing? You can still taste the heat. Good Co. and Dicky’s Dumps will serve up a one-day-only dumpling menu, featuring the exact Hot Ones challenge sauces alongside their signature dumpling dishes. The pop-up menu is available for both attendees and the general public, but only while supplies last.
Heads up: all Hot Ones dumpling menu items are 19+ only and require two pieces of ID to order. A signed waiver will also be required.
