The Vancouver Aquarium is having a fiesta under the sea and you’re invited. Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo with their always-fun Fish & Sips: Fin-Tastic Fiesta Edition. As the Vancouver Aquarium says, “get ready to party like there’s no mañana!”

As always, visitors can expect an excellent food and drink selection at Fish & Sips. Since this is the Fin-Tastic Fiesta Edition, you’ll be treated to the Vancouver Aquarium’s award-winning fish tacos. They’re sustainably-sourced, and absolutely delicious.
Ice-cold margaritas will also be available for visitors, as well as B.C. wines and non-alcoholic beverages. A drink ticket is required, so be sure to pick one up before queuing up at the bar.
Here’s what else you can expect with your ticket:
- After-hours access to Canada’s largest aquarium. Sip on that marg while you learn about the wonders of the sea!
- Live entertainment. There will be a deep-sea DJ and a mariachi band to keep the good vibes going.
- Meet Señor Cinco, the Vancouver Aquarium’s legendary Steller sea lion resident. He was rescued on Cinco de Mayo in 2017– so you can celebrate his rescue alongside the other adorable rescued animals in exclusive marine mammal presentations.
- Experience the new limited-time exhibit Survival of the Slowest.
- Access to the spectacular spectacles of the 4-D theatre, featuring the Vancouver Aquarium’s newest film Wild Survivors 4-D.
- Get hands-on with the Wet Lab and learn directly about the ocean’s critters.
