The International South Asian Film Festival (iSAFF) proudly celebrates its milestone 15th edition, taking place September 24–28, 2025, in Surrey, BC. This year’s theme, “Legacy,” is both a tribute to the rich history of South Asian cinema and a celebration of iSAFF’s own journey as a hub for bold, innovative storytelling.

Among the festival’s most anticipated highlights is the return of Fashion in Film, happening on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 8:00 PM in the Civic Hotel – Grand Ballroom. This year, the event will host a thought-provoking conversation under the theme “Fashioning Identity in the Diaspora: Between Film, Media, and Culture.”
With the captivating theme “The Legends Re-Lived“, the fashion curation goes beyond costumes, honoring the artistry and vision that bring characters to life on screen while shaping how we perceive style in everyday life. What makes Fashion in Film stand out is its ability to bridge two industries that thrive on imagination: cinema and fashion. By revisiting legendary styles and reinterpreting them for today, the event creates a unique dialogue between past and present, tradition and reinvention. The 2025 program expands on iSAFF’s tradition of showcasing independent and groundbreaking works by offering a diverse lineup of features, shorts, music videos, episodic series, industry events, and content creators.
