Metropolis at Metrotown is hosting Summer At The Met, a series of galaxy-themed family-friendly activities and events! This event series is perfect for kids and families alike, with plenty to do for everybody.
From markets to challenges, you and the kids will definitely have something to fill your summer schedules with.
SUMMER AT THE MET
Summer At The Met is an event series that takes place yearly at Metropolis at Metrotown, providing free entertainment for the whole family while you shop around.
This year’s theme is explore the galaxy, so all the activities are space-themed. Expect stars and celestial bodies, and going boldly where none else have gone before. We’ve listed all the events below, so you can look and see what days you want to swing by the mall.
- JUNE 16 – SEPTEMBER 1
Décor by Lazy Wizard: visit the deep corners of the galaxy with these beautiful displays of cosmic artistry. These décor pieces will decorate the mall with their immersive illusions, bringing you closer to outer space than ever before. - JUNE 16 – SEPTEMBER 1
Summer Passport Challenge: drop by guest services to get your Summer Passport. Collect stamps as you take part in the Summer At The Met activities. Those who collect 10 stamps have a chance to win a prize (valued at $100). - JULY 1 – 31
Shop Local, Spend & Get Gift Card (select retailers, while supplies last) - JULY 3 – 6
Summer Market At The Met: this headliner activity offers over 15 food vendors, as well as live music and performances. There will be face-painting, photo-ops, caricature drawings, and more! - JULY 19
Summer Dance Party: with a mobile DJ, you can groove in the galaxy as astronauts and aliens give prizes while they dance. The party will be travelling its way through the mall, so everyone gets a chance to take part in the fun. - AUGUST 22
