It’s back-to-school season, so now’s a great time to hit a book sale to fill your bookshelves with things other than your required reading list. Or if you’re not in school, then it’s always a good time to get a good book at an amazing price.
Get your loonies ready because North Vancouver City Library is hosting a back-to-school book sale with titles costing just $1!
NORTH VANCOUVER CITY LIBRARY’S BACK-TO-SCHOOL BOOK SALE
The North Vancouver City Library typically hosts two of these book sales a year, with one in summer and the other in winter. This sale features basically everything you could ever want out of a book sale. Titles range from romance to mystery to nonfiction to everything else in between.
Everything is just $1. Yes, seriously– only one whole dollar. Magazines are also 5 for $1, so that’s even better if you need some light reading material.
If you’re a serious reader, or if you just love a good deal, then the library also offers an all-you-can-fill deal. For just $5, you can buy as many books as you want as long as they fit into their provided paper bag. And for $25, you can do this with a library tote bag instead.
Visitors are asked to pay at the Welcome Desk, and then they can frolic amongst the books.
The sale lasts from September 8 to 19, so you’ve got ten whole days to get all the books you can dream of!
