The Harrison River Valley will be overflowing with holiday cheer, starting with the Lights By The Lake Holiday Festival.
From November 22nd until January 11th, Lights By The Lake welcomes everyone to walk the two-kilometre promenade along Harrison Lake. Unlike other light festivals that are illustrated with classic holiday scenes, this celebration is Sasquatch-themed, sharing Harrison’s favourite ways to spend time outdoors. Custom-built displays line the esplanade, with Sasquatch enjoying a campfire, hiking, biking, paddling, skiing, fishing, camping, and windsurfing. Other attractions include the Starlight Arena for an outdoor synthetic ice experience, where visitors are welcome to rent ice skates or bring their own.
Lights by the Lake’s opening night starts at 5:00 pm and features photos with Sasquatch Santa, fireworks, holiday carols, complimentary hot chocolate, and a pet parade. For more information on the entire event, check here.
This free, family-friendly event is a fantastic time for everyone who loves pretty lights, holiday vibes, and Sasquatch!
