Ken Ludwig’s hilarious farce comes to Metro Theatre this October!
When a world-famous opera star passes out before the biggest night in Cleveland opera history, his hapless assistant must step in-literally. What follows is a whirlwind of mistaken identities, slamming doors, and not one but two dueling Pagliaccis tearing through a hotel suite. Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me a Tenor is a fast-paced farce of love, lies, and high notes gone wildly wrong.
Produced on the West End in 1986 and Broadway in 1989, this play has since received an array of Tony nominations and accolades from critics and audiences alike. Now, Lend Me a Tenor comes to Vancouver’s Metro Theatre to bring laughter and excitement to the West Coast’s stage.
