Combining the love of theatre with the love of fireworks is Bard Fireworks Nights! Taking place over two days, these theatre nights guarantee fantastic sights along with amazing performances. Oh, and did we mention there’s going to be a dessert buffet, too?
BARD FIREWORKS NIGHTS
Bard on the Beach is hosted annually at Vanier Park. Coincidentally, the Bard Village has a fantastic view of the Honda Celebration of Light shows, making two of their performance dates into a combined firework-theatre night. If you’re looking to squish two events into one, then here’s your chance to do so.
Yukon’s displays will be lighting up the sky on July 19, and Nova Scotia’s will be on July 26. Although the Honda Celebration of Light shows are free to watch, Bard on the Beach is offering their Bard Fireworks Nights as a way for guests to have a show and a treat while getting premiere spots to watch the fireworks.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your show choices are between Much Ado About Nothing or The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again] for each date. After the performances, guests will be able to peruse a delicious dessert buffet, as well as a DIY donut station.
You can elevate your experience even more with a pre-ordered Fireworks Picnic from Emelle’s Catering before you sit down “in a private viewing area for unparalleled views of the spectacular Celebration of Light fireworks.” The fireworks start around 10:00pm.
Although tickets for Bard Fireworks Nights cost more than usual, the worth comes from how much you want those unbeatable views of the firework performances, as well as those from Bard on the Beach.
