32 Years Strong: The West Of Main Art Walk Expands With New Venues And Creative Talent
You are invited! Vancouver, BC – For one weekend only, May 31 – June 1 2025, artists across Vancouver’s west side will open their art studios and gather at satellite venues to welcome the public into their creative spaces. From internationally acclaimed artists to emerging local talent, the West of Main Art Walk offers a rare opportunity to explore the vibrant visual arts community through this free, all-ages, self-guided tour and sale.
Plan your event: to plan your art walk adventure, visitors can preview this year’s artists and venues at www.artistsinourmidst.com, where both a printable map and interactive Google map are available.
The event spans the city from Point Grey to Main Street and Granville Island to 41st Avenue. Visitors can meet artists where they work, discover the stories behind the art, and enjoy a one-of-a-kind, intimate art experience. This year’s participating artists include painters, sculptors, potters, photographers, fabric artists, and more.
Art for a Cause: The Art For All Fundraiser
As part of the Society’s ongoing community outreach, many artists have contributed 6×6 inch original works—each priced at $50—to raise funds for Coast Mental Health’s art programs and a scholarship supporting a Lord Byng Secondary School art student. These pieces will be available for purchase at Kits House (2305 W. 7th Ave.) during the event weekend.
