Join Us for a perfect ending to the summer carnival. We have lots of games and activities for everyone in the family, so come have a fun family day with us.
Our summer carnival will be on the 2nd of September at Fort Langley Church from 1-6 pm. The event is free, but a donation is appreciated to go towards the community work of St. George Coptic Orthodox Church.
The carnival will include:
- Monster foam
- Clown or balloon twisting
- Bouncy castle
- Henna
- Face paint
- Mini Games (giant Jenga, tossing, darts, air hockey, giant dominoes, giant Connect 4, and more)
- Garage sale: for gently used items
- a Bazaar that includes Egyptian Souvenirs , handmade items, jewelry, accessories, school supplies, toys, and more.
- Raffle/Prizes
- Caricature artist (TBD)
- Food (Mediterranean food, pizza, hot dogs, Iraqi baked goods, and more)
- Desserts and snacks (cotton candy, popcorn, cupcakes, and more)
- Music
- And most importantly, get to know us.
The St. George Coptic Orthodox Church is a community of over 400 families, mainly immigrants and refugees from North Africa, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Iraq, Lebanon, and other cultures. It’s our home away from home, and we continue to provide service not only for our community but for the general community as well.
