Get ready for a fun-filled foodie fest with purpose: the 56th annual MCC Festival for World Relief is landing at TRADEX, Abbotsford—it’s Western Canada’s biggest Mennonite heritage celebration. Expect perogies, borscht, watermelon & rollkuchen, vereniki, sausage, plus live music, quilts, kids’ zones and more—all fueling MCC food projects from Ukraine to Haiti to South Sudan and right here in BC .

Friday, September 12 (5 pm–9 pm) and Saturday, September 13 (9 am–2 pm)—with breakfast from 8 am to 10 am .

Free entry and parking, so it’s easy to drop in .

Feast on beloved Mennonite staples like vereniki, farmer’s sausage, borscht, watermelon & rollkuchen, portzelky .

Live entertainment including the returning favourite Mennonite Family Feud, plus local music, a vibrant artisan marketplace with handmade quilts, Fraser Valley produce, plants, fair‑trade rugs and thrift gems .

Kid’s Fun Zone highlights: bouncy castles, climbing wall, LEGO, mini‑golf, Norden the Magician (Friday 6 pm & Saturday 10 am), and on‑site showings of Despicable Me 4 (Friday 7 pm & Saturday 11 am) for just $5 per child .
