The Richmond Nature Park is coming alive with Halloween Hoot!
This free and family-friendly annual event invites you to take a stroll through an eerie forest, complete with inflatables, art installations, and the spooky tickle tunnel.
Halloween Hoot 2025
Halloween Hoot is a fantastic event for lovers of both nature and the spooky season. Richmond Nature Park’s Pond Trail transforms into a thrilling walk, taking visitors through bogs, forests, and areas with ponds. With a provided trail guide at your side, you definitely won’t miss a single bit of the stroll.
While you head through the forest, keep an eye out for the over 35 inflatables featured on the walk! There will also be 10 custom-designed and nature-inspired art installations that you can find decorating the trail, truly bringing the Halloween spirit alive. And don’t forget to head through the ever-popular tickle tunnel!
Pumpkins and Mushrooms
Richmond Nature Park will also have a pumpkin patch set up with hand-picked pumpkins for you to choose from. It’s all the fun and charm of visiting a patch without any of the messy, muddy boots. Pumpkins go for $5, but you can also get $10 for three! All proceeds go to benefiting the Richmond Nature Park Society’s year-round educational programs, helping the community learn more about Richmond’s environment.
You can also head to the Nature House, which will be completely decked out in Halloween fare. In there, BC’s Marvellous Mushrooms travelling exhibit can be found! This display includes tons of engaging displays and invites families to discover the amazing world of fungi while still enjoying the Halloween vibes.
For an enchanting and educational walk, head on over to Richmond Nature Park for Halloween Hoot! The event runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm daily from October 18 through the 29th.
