Vancouver wouldn’t be the place it is today without Chinatown. Celebrating culture, community, and summer is the 24th annual Chinatown Festival!
Sponsored by BMO and organized by the Vancouver Chinatown BIA Society, this free and family-friendly two-day festival regularly brings thousands of visitors to this historic part of the city. It’s all about diversity and community at this yearly event, and you’re invited!
Chinatown Festival 2026 in Vancouver
This signature summertime event brings together all the best parts of a festival. Some things you can expect at the Chinatown Festival are live performances, hands-on activities, cultural experiences, and so much delicious food!
There’s a big focus on culture at this festival, so guests will be able to experience traditions from throughout China with workshops and demonstrations.
In past years, there’s been children’s theatres and a kids’ corner, offering fun things for the little ones. From meet and greets with princess to magic shows, it’s a great spot for your kids to have a blast. And in the Cultural Corner, you can check out tours and interactive activities.
