It’s been nearly a month and a half since we last reported that King Taps was opening their Langley location in April. Since then, people have been raving about the much-loved restaurant’s delicious food and good vibes.
For those in the North Vancouver area, you’ll be able to try out King Taps a little closer to home with their newest location to open this May.
A PERFECT SPOT
First opening their doors in Toronto in 2017, King Taps quickly gained popularity since their initial location. Six years later, the establishment expanded into British Columbia in 2022 with their first restaurant being in Kelowna. King Taps has since become a staple of the Okanagan, and the same is definitely happening in Langley right now.
They’re best known for their homemade pizza and wide selection of local alcohol. As a popular destination for casual hangouts and dates, as well as watching sports, King Taps has a place for everybody and all their dining needs and wants.
THE NEW LOCATION
Their latest B.C. location will be opening in North Vancouver in the Lonsdale Quay Market area. This massive restaurant boasts two-storeys, 10,500 sq. ft. of space, and the room to seat over 325 guests. It also has two bars and two patios. And of course, it overlooks the beautiful North Vancouver shoreline out into the water.
The bottom floor features a large, central bar that has massive television screens for watching sporting events. Additionally, there are more sections in the back for those who wish for a quieter dining experience. Above, on the second floor, is where you’ll find some pretty water views through huge windows or on their patio.
THE FOOD
But we can’t talk about King Taps without mentioning the food, as well. As expected, the restaurant will be offering their iconic pizzas, but also loads of shareables. From burgers to salads, and everything in between, there’s something here for everybody.
And for drinks, King Taps will have a wine program and a fantastically wide selection of local craft beers. With their constantly-rotating tapas, you’ll always have a perfect pairing with your drink.
King Taps officially opens on Tuesday, May 27 at 5pm. Their opening times shift around, but closing doesn’t happen until at least midnight every day.
