Strong southeast winds will strengthen to 70 km/h over the exposed coastal sections this afternoon. The front will move inland late this afternoon and in its wake, winds are forecasted to shift abruptly to the southwest with gusts up to 90 km/h.

The next Pacific storm will bring strong winds to the south coast again Saturday evening.

Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.
