Whether it’s iodized table salt or sea salt, the ingredient is one of the perfect touches to any chefs dishes these days. However, has Edible BC, who released a new line of gourmet salts taken flavours too far?

Salt from any beach would be considered gross however a customized Wreck Beach version sounds a little extreme considering Wreck is a nudist beach..
We did some research into the ‘unique flavor’ and were relieved to learn that Wreck Beach Salt is actually just JJ Bean coffee, sugar, ginger, and a bunch of herbs + spices and NOT salt that could have potentially been underneath a naked person at some point.
Other products on the gourmet line are Davie St salt, and Bacon salt which sell between $8 – $16.
