Where To Watch Freaky Flicks on Halloween in Vancouver

Where To Watch Freaky Flicks on Halloween in Vancouver

There is something liberating about dressing up and pretending to be someone, or something, you’re not. For most North Americans, Halloween is the time of year that we exercise our right to do this, dressing as scary or as skanky as we please.

To celebrate this occasion there are many Halloween parties and events going on around Vancouver. However, if you don’t want to hit up the clubs, and are too old to go trick-or-treating, where do you go if you still want to show off your costume and be a part of the festivities? The movies of course!

Actors are the true masters of deception so what better way to embrace the art of dressing up than going to see a scary movie. Many of today’s most popular costumes come from classic horror films such as Frankenstein, The Wolf Man and Dracula. Even modern movies are breeding grounds for costume ideas. Almost any character you can think of can somehow be transformed–and probably will be–into a Halloween Costume.

Here’s a list of some of the cinemas around Vancouver that will be showing special Halloween screenings; now you can still get your freak on, while having your feet up.
