Showers and grey skies are on the forecast for metro Vancouver, but the gloomy weather will followed by a series of sunshine next week.
While we’re still experiencing a relatively warm winter, it’s clear Raincouver has officially returned and the region has recorded higher than normal amounts of rainfall for the first half of February.
According to Environment Canada, Vancouver has recorded 104 millimeters of rain so far this month, which is higher than the seasonal average of 99 millimeters. It’s anticipated we’ll have up to 180 millimeters by the end of February.
