Warm Weekend Ahead For Metro Vancouver

It’s been a warm week in metro Vancouver, and it doesn’t look it’ll be cooling down over the weekend.

According to Environment Canada, the sunshine will continue through the weekend with some low winds, and a low chance of showers on Monday morning.

On Friday, temperatures will reach 24°C near the water, and 29°C inland. The humidex is set to 30°C, and the UV set at 8, so it goes without saying you’ll be wise to slap on some sunblock.

Temperatures will drop slightly on Saturday and Sunday, with clouds in the forecast and highs of 23°C on both days.

There’s plenty to do to take advantage of the sunny break, including the Celebration of Light finale at English Bay, taking a dip in one of these free outdoor pools, or joining the hundreds of thousands at the Pride Parade on Sunday. For more ideas, check out our weekend events guide.
