Another Grey Cup has come and gone and today the BC Lions announced that the club’s 25th head coach Jeff Tedford has resigned. He chose to exercise an option in his contract and will pursue college football opportunities.
The Lions’ former coach and current VP of Football Operations & GM will take on a dual role as he resumes coaching duties for the 2016 season. Between Calgary and BC, Buono has 13 West Division Championships and 5 Grey Cups under CFL coaching record.
