Since 1982, the Vancouver International Film Festival has been celebrating and sharing diverse filmmaking and storytelling on the big screen.
VIFF 2017, the 36th annual festival, is underway and includes a slew of new and enhanced programming to complement its core film festival screenings and events. This includes new film program streams; VIFF Live – an immersive sonic and visual experience; a virtual reality day; creator talks; indie days and more.
This year also features a focus on YouTube content creators with a full day of programming from Toronto’s Buffer Festival. It includes a Creator Day full of workshops and seminars from industry experts as well as talks from featured creators. Whether you’re just starting out or already an established Creator, there’s tons of insight to be gained by attending this free event.
