You Might Be Able To View The Northern Lights Over BC Tonight

Northern Lights

As explosion on the sun’s surface continue to create celestial storms, British Columbians may be in for an amazing astral display.

On the evening of September 13th there will be a moderate geomagnetic storm impacting Earth’s geomagnetic fields. NASA says that such occurrences can enhance the vibrancy of aurora borealis, making their appearance all the more stunning.

Best Places to View The Northern Lights

The best places for stargazers to catch the show are far away from any light pollution. This means that major cities, or areas with a great deal of street lights, billboards and so on, will make viewing the northern lights more difficult.
