Vancouver’s Dark Knight Cleans Up For 100 Days

One man should have his own cleanup song after embarking on a 100-day project in his neighbourhood.

Cliff Relph aka KnightInVancouver literally cleaned up the trash along Knight Street in Vancouver.

From a stuffed horse head and dentures to coffee cups and batteries, the Good Samaritan has come across all kinds of stuff and tracked his progress in online photo galleries. Check out some of the highlights of the cleanup project and Cliff’s captions:

Because, of course, Guitar Hero.”

garbage-3Day 54
“I think someone decided to clean out their vehicle, but, of course, I think there are better ways to do it.”

garbage-4Day 66
“It turns out, there is a lot of tape in a VHS… tape. :)”

garbage-5Day 79
“And, probably the largest haul of them all. I came across the cushion, and actually had to drag it a fair distance, because it was wet. Not fun. But, glad to take care of it.”

garbage-6Day 92
“Found an Air Jordan sandal, a Micro USB Cable, and some old Christmas lights”

garbage-7Day 100
“This was the day… I found 13 banana peels, and completed my project. Thank you for joining me. :)”

Perhaps he’s the hero Vancouver deserves. “He’s a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark knight”. So who you gonna’ call? The KnightInVancouver? No. Clean up after yourselves you filthy animals!
