In addition to the 20 acres showcasing 7 million tulip bulbs, you can explore 3 acres of specialty double daffodils. New this year is an 2 acres of aromatic hyacinths (only one of its kind in Canada).

Guest curated by Haida Curator Kwiaahwah Jones in collaboration with Viviane Gosselin, Co-curator and Director of Collections & Exhibitions at MOV, this exhibition features an unparalleled collection of Haida art boasting more than 450 works created as early as 1890.
Performance | Cabaret
Continuing their tradition of presenting outstanding big Broadway musicals, Royal City Musical Theatre is excited to present Cabaret, the landmark musical from director/producer Harold Prince, and songwriters John Kander & Fred Ebb. A Tony Award winning musical that has been a play, a musical, and a film.
Culture | Culture at the Centre
The Museum of Anthropology (MOA) at UBC presents a groundbreaking collaboration between six First Nations Communities with the illuminating new exhibition Culture at the Centre, on display this weekend until Monday, October 8th, 2018.

Andrew Wright travelled from the oil sands of Alberta to the Coast of British Columbia along the route of the proposed Northern Gateway oil pipeline, documenting the natural ecosystems and people he met along the way.
This stunning collection of photographs, set against a map of the pipeline, invites the viewer to consider what is to be valued in a modern Canada that is built upon resource extraction and energy production in a world of diminishing biodiversity and climate change.

Environment | Earth Day SWAP MEET
Back by popular demand, Walton PAC is hosting its 3rd annual SWAP MEET on Friday, April 27 (3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.) and Saturday, April 28th (9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.).
This eco-purpose event will bring together local businesses and bargain hunters all under one roof. Admission is FREE! There will be 30 tables available each day of the event.
Concert | Post Malone
Multi-platinum artist Post Malone will embark on a 28 city North America tour this Spring and perform live in Vancouver this weekend on Friday, April 27th.
Post Malone is scheduled to hit the stage at Rogers Arena with special guest SOB X RBE.

Ontroerend Goed, creators of Fight Night, bring us a new piece about the end of humanity and what comes after.
World Without Us will be shown at The Cultch from Tuesday, April 17th – Sunday, April 29th, 2018.
Performance | From Broadway With Love
From April 26 – April 28, 2018, From Broadway with Love will debut with four showtimes at Richmond’s Gateway Theatre.
The performance will showcase 20 songs made famous on the Broadway stage, featuring an orchestra of 10-15 players and a cast of 11 singers and actors with a wide range of talents, skills and voice types.

The North Shore Daffodil Dash takes place at Ambleside Park this weekend on Sunday, April 29th. Starting at 9:00 a.m., you can take part in a 1k walk, a 5k run, and don’t forget the mini dash for the kids!

Grab a friend and come out to the Tri-Cities Daffodil Dash this month!
It takes place this Sunday and the event will start at Rocky Point Park at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 12:00 p.m.
Fundraiser | Vancouver Daffodil Dash
Add a spring to your step this April and come out to the annual the Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil Dash in Vancouver.
It begins at Concord Parking Lot (across from Rogers Arena). This event is a 1k walk and 5k run (and don’t forget the mini dash for the kids!) that raises funds for cancer research and prevention and support for people living with the disease right now.
Polio | Move For Polio
Move for those who can’t. Help us end polio today one step at a time! Move For Polio is a 5km run/walk event that fundraises for Rotary International “End Polio Now Campaign”. It takes place at Garry Point this weekend on Sunday, April 29th from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

May 4 | Shipyards Night Market
Visitors will find fresh food, locally made products, musicians, art and entertainment every Friday night. The festivities in the Square kick off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday nights. In addition, there is live music until 10:00 p.m. on the Shipbuilders’ Stage, showcasing talent from all over BC.
