Vancouver Treated To Surprise Fireworks on Tuesday Night (Video)

The City of Vancouver is no stranger to unannounced fireworks, and Tuesday night was just another reason why.

At approximately 9:30pm, a short and private fireworks display took to the sky over the Burrard Inlet near the Vancouver Convention Centre.

It still remains unclear what the fireworks were for, which only adds to Vancouver’s reputation for the random event.

In past situations, the City of Vancouver’s Twitter account usually sends out a tweet about private fireworks in advance, but offered no warning last night.

Regardless, it was a nice surprise for those living in the area or passing by.
