Vancouver Public Library To Launch A Spectaular Rooftop Patio

Tired of the same old library scene you’re used to? Looking for a new place to study?

Well Vancouver Public Library has decided to make some changes to their central branch, which includes a brand new public rooftop garden and cafe! This new project also known as, “garden in the sky” is estimated to begin construction in 2015, where the library will reconstruct its eighth and ninth floors by adding more reading rooms, two outdoor terraces and an 8,000 sq. ft. public garden!

The library also has supposed plans to include a 3,000 sq. ft. “inspiration lab” that would include a video editing area, music lab, and digital recording studio!

As if this branch wasn’t already beautiful enough with its stunning view of downtown Vancouver, its floor to ceiling windows, colonnaded walls, and much more, but now this library is going to receive the touches necessary to take it from beautiful to state of the art with lots of opportunities for Vancouverites to take advantage of!
