Vancouver’s first all plant-based bakery is open for business.
If you’ve ever had to miss out on baked goods because of dietary restrictions, this may be your haven.
If you want more options, there’s also another popular gluten-free bakery set to open in Vancouver by mid-February.
Bonus Bakery, located at 1185 West Georgia, states all of their baked goods are 100 per cent plant-based.
Everything in the shop is baked by hand and from scratch. “Our baker starts work before the sun rises each day to ensure that every batch is as fresh as possible before it gets to you,” states the bakery.
After realizing there was a market for plant-based foods, Bonus Bakery co-founder Pierrick Tanguy turned his vision into a reality.
He asked baker Monica Tang to be a part of the journey after finding her bakery page on Instagram and the two got started.
Bonus Bakery is open Monday – Friday from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.
