One of Vancouver’s most beloved Christmas events will get a new look this upcoming holiday season.
The Vancouver Christmas Market is notoriously held at the Queen Elizabeth Plaza every year. But for 2016, the market will move to Jack Poole Plaza near the Vancouver Convention Centre in Coal Harbour.
The area is also home to the Olympic Cauldron, bringing with it many memories from the 2010 Winter Games.
This will be the 7th year of the classic Christmas event, and the added element of being located near the waterfront will likely make the evening just a little bit more magical.
The new spot will offer more than 50,000 square feet of festivities. The expansion will allow for additional vendors and activities.
Check out the market when it returns November 26th to December 30th.
