Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has just been announced to be partaking in Toronto’s Pride Parade. This marks the first time in history a Prime Minister has ever done so.
Trudeau marched in last year’s Pride Parade in Vancouver, when he was running for Prime Minister.
The Vancouver Pride Parade attracted up to 650,000 people last year. Given the fact that we have one of the largest Pride Parades in the world—we are hoping Trudeau also makes a point to be a part of Vancouver’s celebrations as well.
Trudeau is expected to march in Toronto’s parade on July 3rd.
The 38th Annual Vancouver Pride Parade will be taking place on Sunday, July 31st this year.
