An obvious choice—this is the best spot in Vancouver to hit up if you want to feel like you’re some place far away. Soak up the tropical motif and sip on some delicious and elaborate cocktails that will make you feel like you’re on a beach. Stop by 4362 Main Street

Cafe La Forêt


Check out this adorable cafe in Burnaby that will give you all the tropical feels. The decor is modern but has lots of plants to make it feel like you’re immersed in nature. Sip on a cup of coffee or stop by for brunch with a delicious line-up of waffles and an avocado platter. Visit them at 6848 Jubilee Avenue.

Honolulu Coffee


It’s right in their name! This coffee shop and eatery only has two Canadian locations and lucky for us—they’re both in Vancouver. Get refreshing smoothie bowls, Hawaiian-inspired coffee and various sweets. They’re located at 888 Nelson Street and 2098 41st Avenue West.




This cute little North Vancouver eatery definitely feels out of this world. It’s full of lush plants and even has swings you can sit on to eat your meal. Their menu is chalked full of healthy eats like avocado toast, acai bowls, wraps and much more. Check them out at 106 West 1st Street and 102-2120 Dollarton Hwy.

Poke Time


It’s Poke Time. They’ve got a few locations in Vancouver and serve up the classic Hawaiian dish along with vibrant decor. Plus, they’ve got Dole Whip, which just makes everything better. Stop by this spot if you need a pick-me-up. They have locations at 1258 Robson Street, 1055 West Georgia Street and 840 Howe Street.
