Oh fall. It’s a time full of pumpkin spice treats and kids going back to school. To celebrate the arrival of October, TransLink is offering free bus travel for students and teachers from Kindergarten to Grade 12 during I Love Transit Week.
Taking place from October 7th – 11th, 2019, this year marks 10 years of I Love Transit!
In addition, this year’s theme for I Love Transit week is A Greater Vancouver—the future of transportation in Metro Vancouver!
Here’s what’s TransLink has lined up for Metro Vancouver classes this year:
- K-12 students ride the bus for FREE. NOTE: SkyTrain, SeaBus, and West Coast Express is not included.
- Win a field trip to I Love Transit Camp. One winning class will be selected for an all-inclusive field trip to attend I Love Transit Camp, where you get to see all the behind-the-scenes stuff at TransLink’s facilities.
- Win transit passes for your class. Randomly-selected Metro Vancouver school classes have the chance to win Compass Cards loaded with a DayPass for their entire class to travel on a day of their choice during the rest of the school year.
