Enjoy delicious authentic Greek cuisine and awesome multicultural entertainment this weekend from Friday, June 9th, 2017 to the 18th. The menu will have your mouth watering with all your favourites, including: souvlaki, gyros, calamari, spanakopita, hummus and pita, tzatziki, roasted potatoes, Greek salad, baklava and much more. The festival starts at 4:00 p.m. and goes until 10:00 p.m. on weekdays. On weekends it starts at noon and goes until 10:00 p.m.
The 2017 Vancouver Taiwanese Film Festival is back for an 11th year from Friday, June 9th, 2017 – Sunday, June 11th. It features nine diverse and high-quality films and documentaries from Taiwan. In addition, there are three Special Panel Discussions for the screening of “Ode to Time” with the Director, Hou Chi-Jan. Tickets start at $12. You can buy 4 for $44.
Free outdoor yoga returned to Kitsilano Beach on Thursday, June 1st, 2017 and runs until the end of August. The classes will be held on the North side of the beach, at the corner of Maple St and Ogden Ave. The location is different than last year, and offers a better view of the ocean and downtown Vancouver.

The VTFF takes pride in showcasing the best of contemporary Turkish cinema, featuring both popular mainstream favourites and internationally acclaimed, award-winning films. This year’s festival runs from Friday, June 9th, 2017 – Sunday, June 11 at SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts. Tickets are $35.

Outdoors | Mountain Music Series
The fourth annual Mountain Music Series takes place every Friday night from June 9th to September 22nd at Sea to Sky Gondola. This year’s line-up offers a variety of genres ranging from Classic Rock, European Folk, Indie Soul, Modern-Acoustic, R&B and World Fusion. Coupled with a BBQ menu and breathtaking views, this is one-of-a-kind experience. Tickets are $41.95.
Atlanta-based rapper Future is bringing his unique music style back to Rogers Arena this weekend on Friday. Joining him on tour will be Migos, Tory Lanez & Kodak Black. Also, Young Thug and ASAP Ferg will be performing on selected dates. The last time Future was here, he helped Canadian rapper Drake blow the roof off for two shows at Rogers Arena last October.
Driven Aftermarket Autoshow lands in Vancouver on Saturday, June 10th, 2017. Put on by Kal Tire & PUR Wheels, the event takes place at Royal Centre from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Early bird tickets are $15. Moreover, tickets at the door are $20.

The Cloverdale Antiques and Collectible Show comes to The Cloverdale Fair Grounds this Saturday, June 10th. Over 170 tables of antiques and collectibles will be on full display. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with admission ranging from $5 – $10.
Street festival | Italian Day On The Drive 2017
Italian Day on The Drive is a vibrant cultural street festival celebrating Italian culture, heritage and respective immigrant contributions in Vancouver. Commercial Drive, also known as The Drive, is home to the annual festival. It transforms the street into a lively 14 block, vehicle free, celebration and community fiesta. Since Italian Day’s return in 2010, the event has grown significantly. The free event returns this Sunday, June 11th from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Art | Mid Main Art Fair
The 7th annual Mid Main Art Fair returns this weekend on Sunday, June 11th, 2017. This popular one day art fair features 18 established artists from the Lower Mainland showing works for sale in a variety of media and styles, including painting, sculpture, photography, and printmaking at the beautiful Heritage Hall in Vancouver. It takes place at Heritage Hall from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
