Local police in Surrey have made an arrest in a case that saw a number of sexual assaults happen over the past month.
The four incidents took place in the Newton area, and authorities are linking them to the same suspect.

Officers found a man driving a grey Honda Accord and immediately brought him in as a person of interest.
The suspect was arrested on May 27th after he was linked to a series of sexual assaults, including one with a teenager.
He has since been released for the time being until Crown Counsel can decide what charges will be laid.

Surrey Man Timeline
The first incident occurred at approximately 1:00 am on April 24th, where a woman was sexually assaulted as she walked in the area of 84 Avenue and King George Boulevard. She was grabbed by the arm and groped by a male suspect who was passing in the opposite direction. After she began to scream, the suspect fled.
The second incident took place at roughly 5:16 am on May 20th. A woman was walking in the area of 144th Street and 76th Avenue when she was grabbed by the arm and groped by a male suspect who was passing in the opposite direction. The woman fought back and the suspect fled.
The third incident took place at roughly 4:45 am on May 21st, a woman was walking east on 72 Avenue at 134 Street when she was grabbed from behind and sexually assaulted by an unknown male; however, she broke free from the male and he fled on foot west on 72 Avenue.
