In honour of Earth Day, Starbucks will be reducing green in a major way: by providing FREE drinks to anyone who stops by a store location with a reusable mug or tumbler. This includes your choice of any brew – hot or iced!

The promotion is only valid during April 22nd, 2015 at participating locations throughout metro Vancouver.
According to their website, Starbucks recognizes the impact one can make for our beloved Earth through careful and conscious choices including the use of reusable mugs. As a gesture of their appreciation, they’ve promised to reward those who use tumblers and travel mugs as they ultimately help reduce the environmental impact.
For those who don’t own a reusable mug, Starbucks will be selling their custom tumblers for 20% off. For those who aren’t able to bring in a reusable mug or purchase one, Starbucks will provide you with a drink in one of their “for-here” cups and still pick up your tab.
In past years, Starbucks has ran similar promotions on Earth Day and has had over 1.4 million people participate. This year, they plan on breaking their record so it’s safe to say you may be waiting in a short line-up when you visit.
As a general reminder, Starbucks always takes 10 cents off your drink every time you bring in a reusable mug at any one of their locations.
So on April 22, 2015, go green and enjoy your free Starbucks!
