Forget the pub crawl and go on a wine stroll in the Okanagan, because it’ll soon be home to District Wine Village, the first of its kind in Canada.

The all-winery village is a dream come true for sommeliers, as well as those who just like a good glass of Chardonnay or even Rose, all day.

The new addition to the Okanagan wine region is an absolute paradise. They’re expected to break ground during the Spring of 2020 and then open sometime in 2021.

Small craft producers can start their own business in the one-of-a-kind village—and it’ll likely become the ultimate getaway.

The plan is to have 15 dedicated production facilities. In addition, a culinary experience centre, and a multipurpose amphitheater with a 600-person capacity are also expected. It will also feature an on-site vineyard and chef’s garden.

It will positively impact many members of the community by showcasing a variety of growers and producers, as well as bring in an influx of tourism.

In the meantime, at least we have Canada’s first 0% gin until then.
